Cameroon Academy of Sciences : Prof Jacques FAME NDONGO is now a Fellow

The induction ceremony for the new fellows of the Cameroon Academy of Sciences (CAS) took place on Wednesday 9 April 2025 in the conference room of the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation, under the chairmanship of Professor BEBAN Sammy, President of the CAS. Many members of this renowned institution attended the event.
The solemnity of this event gave the twelve new members the opportunity to present, in summary form, the essence of their research work, in accordance with academic tradition.
In the spirit of heuristic civility, the Cameroon Academy of Sciences extended a warm welcome to Prof Jacques FAME NDONGO and the other members. In return, they undertook to scrupulously abide by the Academy’s statutes and to pursue, with dedication, their research in the service of scientific progress.
The Cameroon Academy of Sciences (CAS) was founded in 1990 to promote high-level scientific research and technological training. This august body also advises national and international decision-makers on major issues relating to science and technology in the service of humanity, while working to bolster the links between scientific research and the productive sectors of the national economy.
The new fellows are expected to make a constant and significant contribution to raising science to the status of a major instrument for human flourishing.
