University Cooperation : The Board of Directors of EISMV presents its report.
The 53rd ordinary session of the Board of Directors of the Inter-State School of Veterinary Science and Medicine of Dakar came to an end on Friday 25 October 2024 at the Djeuga Palace Hotel in Yaounde. During the closing ceremony, Prof. Jacques FAME NDONGO, Cameroon’s Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, was appointed Chairman of the Council for a one-year term.
The 53rd ordinary session of the Board of Directors of the Inter-State School of Veterinary Science and Medicine (EISMV) of Dakar resulted in 15 decisions, five (5) resolutions, one (1) recommendation and four (4) motions. A happy ending for Professor Jacques FAME NDONGO, Cameroon’s Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, and now Chairman of the Council. At the opening of the session on Thursday 24 October 2024, he expressed the wish that this work should be carried out in the best interests of the Member States, with a view to achieving a result that will make a significant contribution to the development and modernisation of livestock, fisheries and animal health sectors in the said countries and beyond. He also stressed that this objective could only be achieved through the training of competent personnel and multidisciplinary technical experts. (suite…)
