On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, the 10^th session of the National Commission for Medical, Pharmaceutical and Odontostomatological Training of Cameroon (CNFMP) took place, presided over by the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education. Created by Order N.055/PM of June 10,2013 of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, this Commission is essentially responsible for issuing technical opinions on the quality of training for health professionals in Public and Private Universities in Cameroon, in order to consolidate the academic, technological and professional quality of medical Higher Education training institutions.   Download the press release . Le mardi 24 mai 2022, s’est tenue, à partir à 10 heures 45 minutes, à la salle de conférence du Centre National de Supervision du Réseau lnteruniversitaire du Cameroun et de Développement du Numérique Universitaire, la 10me session de la Commission Nationale de la Formation Médicale, Pharmaceutique et Odontostomatologique du Cameroun (CNFMP) présidée par le Ministre d’Etat, Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur. 1- Diffusion inappropriée
La démocratie induit la gestion rationnelle de l’opinion publique assortie des réponses idoines aux questions que celle-ci se pose légitimement. La diffusion inappropriée, par les réseaux sociaux, de la correspondance conjointe signée le 19 mai 2022 et adressée à monsieur le Ministre, Secrétaire Général des Services du Premier Ministre, par le ministre d’Etat, ministre de l’enseignement supérieur et le ministre de la fonction publique et de la réforme administrative a suscité certaines interrogations auxquelles il est opportun d’apporter des réponses précises, à propos de l’avenir des diplômés des huit ENS et ENSET camerounaises.
2- S’agit-il d’une décision ou d’une proposition ?
Il s’agit d’une proposition conjointe de deux membres du gouvernement soumise à la Haute Sanction de leur Supérieur Hiérarchique. Aucune décision n’est encore prise. Seule la Hiérarchie est habilitée à prendre une telle mesure. Ses directives seront appliquées illico presto par les deux ministres qui restent, chacun, dans son domaine de compétence (formation rigoureuse et cohérente d’une part, intégration administrative d’autre part). 1- Inappropriate Communication
Democracy induces the rational management of public opinion accompanied by appropriate answers to the questions that it legitimately asks. The inappropriate dissemination, via social networks, of the joint correspondence signed on May 19, 2022 and addressed to the Minister, Secretary General of the Prime Minister’s Services, by the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education and the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reform has raised some worries to which it is appropriate to provide specific answers, about the future of graduates of the eight Cameroonian HTTCs and HTTTCs.
2- Is it a decision or a proposal?
It is a joint proposal of two members of the Government submitted to the High Sanction of their Hierarchical Superior. No decision has yet been made. Only the Hierarchy is empowered to take such action. Its directives will be applied immediately by the two Ministers who each remain in their area of competence (rigorous and coherent training on the one hand, administrative integration on the other). The future headquarters of the rectorate of the Pan-African University in Yaoundé will include seven levels (a basement, a ground floor and five floors). It will be 28 m high occupy a surface area of 2,825 m2, with 120 rooms intended in particular, for the board of the directors, the senate (senate), the three Vice-Rectors, the secretary General, the PAN-African virtual university etc. The cost building is 8,833,152,883 CFA francs, all taxes included.

2- The commissioner for Education
On a working visist to Cameroon, the African Union Commissioner in charge of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation ( Professor MOHAMED BELHOCINE) visisted, on Friday May 13, 202, the construction site of the future headquarters of the rectotate of the PAN-African university under construction at a place called Nkolmefou, not far from the Minister of state, Minister of Higher Education, a day before, on May 12, 2022.   Download the file

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education chaired on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 on behalf of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Chancellor of Academic Orders, the second session of the ad-hoc Technical Commission in charge of operations relating to the issuance of certificates under the authority of the Ministry of Higher Education, in the Conference Room of the Higher Teacher Training College of the University of Yaounde 1. ln attendance to this meeting were representatives of the eight State Universities and the Public Higher Education Establishments with a Special Status and placed under the academic supervision of the Ministry of Higher education, the statutory members, experts, Guests and Private Higher Education Institutes. After the opening address by the Secretary General, representative of the Minister of State, and the action framework by the Director for the Coordination of Academic Activities, two main articulations structured the meeting, including interventions relating to the presentation of an inventory of the award of certificates by the supervisors of the three sub-working groups and communication from three experts on the following themes :    Download the final press release
