In the furtherance of the application of the Very High Measures taken by the Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya, aimed at supporting heuristic governance in State Universities for the implementation of fundamental and applied research likely to contribute to the emergence of Cameroon by the year 2035, the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, hereby informs Teacher’s researchers in service in the eight (08) State Universities that:
Folowing the provision of funds by the Minister of Finance, the payment through bank transfers, of the allowances pertaining to the earmarked account for the Modernization of Academic Research, instituted by the Head of State on April 08, 2009, and corresponding to the remains (balance) of the 1st quarter of 2020 and for the entire second quarter of the 2020 fiscal year, started on Wednesday, 15th july, 2020, in banks where the concerned teachers’ accounts are domiciled. We shall continue methodically, in accordance with the schedule established by the technical services of the Ministry of Finance.
As concerns the second (2nd) quarter of 2020, over the counter payments of Teachers-Researchers who are regular beneficiaries of this allowance can go to the Accounting Office of the Earmarked Account located on the tenth (10th) floor of the Ministry of Higher Education as from Thursday, 23th July 2020 as from 1:00 P.M. They should come along with their National Identity Cards; effective presence corresponding to the period of payment an their most recent Bank Account Details.   Download the press release

En vue de la poursuite diligente des Très Hautes Mesures édictées par le Chef de l’Etat, Son Excellence Paul BIYA, visant à soutenir la gouvernance heuristique dans les Universités d’Etat, pour la mise en œuvre d’une recherche fondamentale et appliquée susceptible de contribuer à l’émergence du Cameroun à l’horizon 2035, le Ministre d’Etat, Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur communique:
Suite à la mise à disposition des fonds par le Ministre des Finances, le paiement, par virement, de l’allocation relative au compte d’affectation spéciale pour la modernisation de la recherche universitaire, créé par le Chef de l’Etat le 08 avril 2009, correspondant aux instances (reliquat) du 1er trimestre 2020 et à la totalité du 2e trimestre de l’exercice 2020, a débuté ce mercredi 15 juillet 2020, auprès des banques de domiciliation des comptes des enseignants concernés. Il se déroule méthodiquement, conformément au calendrier arrêté par les services techniques du Ministère des Finances.
En ce qui concerne le paiement par billetage pour le compte du 2e trimestre de l’exercice 2020, les Enseignants-chercheurs régulièrement bénéficiaires de ladite allocation pourront se présenter à l’Agence Comptable du Compte d’Affectation Spéciale située au 10e étage du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur, à partir du jeudi 23 juillet 2020, à 13 heures. Ils devront se munir de leurs cartes nationales d’identité, de l’attestation de présence effective correspondant au trimestre susvisé et du relevé d’identité bancaire (RIB) le plus récent à titre de complément de dossier.     Télécharger le communiqué
