ln view of the diligent pursuit of the Very High Measures decreed by the Head of State, His Excellency Paul BIYA, aimed at supporting heuristic governance in State Universities, for the implementation of fundamental and applied research likely to contribute to the emergence of Cameroon by 2035, the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education communicates:
Following the mobilization of funds by the Minister of Finance, payments by bank transfer, of the allowances pertaining to the earmarked account for the Modernization of Academie Research, corresponding to the 2nd quarter of fiscal year 2021, began on Thursday, July 22, 2021 in banks where the concerned teachers’ accounts are domiciled. It will continue methodically in accordance with the timetable set by the competent services of the Ministry of Finance. With regard to over the counter payments, it shall begin on Tuesday July 27, 2021. All new and former beneficiaries of the said allowance may go to the Accounting Agency of the said Special Account located on the 10 th floor of the Ministry of Higher Education, from 11 a.m. Each teacher-researcher must bring their national identity card, a copy of their contract, the certificate of effective presence corresponding to the aforementioned quarter and their most recent Bank Account Details./-
As a reminder, the Head of State created the aforementioned special allowance on April 8, 2009. It is paid regularly, each quarter, at the behest of the Minister of Finance. / –
