Within the framework of the fight that he is waging against coronavirus, the Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya, yesterday offered to Universities in Cameroon, a considerable stock of protective masks. This substantial donation was handed to the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education by the Minister of Territorial Administration.
The consignments have been immediately conveyed by officials of the Ministry of Higher Education to the towns that host universities in Cameroon. The statutory recipients are the following: the eight State Universities, the Panafrican University, the Congo-Cameroon Inter-States University in Sangmelima, the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences based in Limbe, the African Institute for Computer Sciences (lAI), the four higher education schools with special status ( National Advanced school of Public Works, National Institute of Youth and Sports, National Advanced  School of Post,  Telecommunication  and Information  and Communication Technology, the Nautical Arts and Fisheries Institute in Limbe), many lay and confessional Institutes of private higher education found over the entire territory.
On behalf of the national university community, the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education is thanking the Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya, for this lofty and illustrious action, depicting once again, his unflinching determination to combat, with everyone and for all, the Coronavirus in our country and preserve the lives of Cameroonians.

Dans le cadre de la lutte acharnée qu’il conduit contre le coronavirus, le Chef de l’Etat, Son Excellence Paul BIYA, a offert, hier, aux institutions universitaires du Cameroun, un important contingent de masques de protection. Ce don substantiel a été remis au Ministre d’Etat, ministre de l’enseignement supérieur, par le Ministre de l’administration territoriale.
Les colis ont été immédiatement convoyés, aux différentes villes universitaires du Cameroun, par des responsables du ministère de l’enseignement supérieur. Les destinataires statutaires sont les suivants: les huit Universités d’Etat, l’Université panafricaine, l’Université inter-Etats  Congo-Cameroun  à  Sangmélima,    l’African  Institute  for Mathematical Sciences à Limbé, l’Institut Africain d’informatique (lAI), les quatre établissements  d’enseignement  supérieur  à  régime spécial (Ecole nationale supérieure des travaux publics, Institut National de la Jeunesse  et des sports,  Ecole nationale  supérieure  des Postes, des Télécommunications  et des Technologies de l’Information  et de la Communication,  le Nautical Arts and Fisheries Institute  à Limbé) et plusieurs   Instituts   privés  d’enseignement   supérieur   laïcs  et confessionnels présents sur l’ensemble du territoire.
Au nom de la communauté universitaire nationale, le Ministre d’Etat, Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur remercie le Chef de l’Etat, Son Excellence Paul BIYA, pour cette action salutaire qui illustre, encore une fois, sa volonté inébranlable de combattre, avec tous et pour tous, le coronavirus dans notre pays et de préserver la vie des camerounaises et des camerounais.
